As the wise aptly put it, “health is wealth”. With the understanding of the importance of health to individuals, families, and the communities at large, STGFF provides a minimum of twenty (20) health insurance premiums annually to needy members of the communities that it serves. These premiums enhance the access of recipients to healthcare through participating hospitals, doctors, and nursing homes.

The preventive care aspect of the insurance is particularly important because it enables the recipient to receive medical checkup on regular basis. In addition, recipients are covered for a variety of illnesses, and coverage includes diagnosis and cure plus medicine prescription.

STGFF will provide recipients with packages of health insurance through the regular health insurance organizations patronized by the Oyo State Government.

STGFF identifies needy members of the community with the assistance of Health workers and community leaders whose advice will be sought for the purpose. This means Doctors and other Health workers get to recommend patients that need assistance.

Health workers, including doctors and nurses are best sources because they deal with cases of ill health on a regular basis and they are familiar with those who may benefit from intervention through the provision of health insurance.
